Getting the golden eye

so you first start with a basic matte, earthy hue brushed onto the crease of the eyelid and along the bottom lash line.

then, using 3 iridescent powders - yellow gold in the inner lid corner, rose gold in the center and copper on the outer corner - blend away! according to the expert, if you do it right (blending one shade into the next) you'll get "almost an ombré effect".

brushes are everything to great makeup application, especially eyeshadows(!): the best ones for blending are fluffy and Osmond says, dome-shaped. The Body Shop has a pretty good range at an affordable price.
