Shop update: New books for you

Lighthearted and tongue-in-cheek, these books date back to the 1940s, with the author Nancy Mitford writing directly from her personal encounters as a wealthy, swinging golden girl from London - an exciting account of the author's life can be found here.

We stock 4 titles and recommend starting with her best-selling The Pursuit of Love and Love in a Cold Climate. Plus, we do like that this specially illustrated series can only be found at soon lee(!).

We've got a new neighbour!

Located just opposite our store in Haji Lane, Hadasity is a charming little shop filled with beautiful jewellery. Fresh from her return from New York, designer Hadassah puts together trinkets sourced from vintage markets in NYC, with striking stones and baubles.

Her signature jewellery - hand-wired bangles, necklaces and rings - are intricate, elegant and a huge delight to put on (we would know!). Hadasity is at 78 Haji Lane, and opens Mondays to Saturdays, from 1pm - 8pm.

What a great picture of the two first ladies. Michelle Obama always conveys this picture of strength, polish, and good senses (her wiki bio is quite a good read!).

Happy Monday

If you have been to our store recently, you might find these songs very familiar. More about the intriguing Carla Bruni here. Wishing you a great week at work and back home(!).
